A long time coming ⌛️.

After just over 18 months, we 2 weeks ago were finally able to publicly share the ‘new’ Hinge brand, we did this through the launch of our new website & it’s move to our new hinge.agency domain. So incase you’ve not seen it yet, here it is!

To say it’s been a long time coming is a bit of an understatement & although we’ve been using the brand internally & loosely on Instagram & Twitter it wasn’t until we got involved with Studio Republic’s HackForGood — a one day event spent ‘hacking’ for good — we realised our ‘old’ brand had been used by our industry peers on printed graphics & swag, clearly identifying a disconnect between what we were seeing internally day to day. It’s hardly surprising, our own website had the old brand on it & the content itself hasn’t changed since the business started all those years ago!

There’s by no means anything wrong with our old brand & it’s served us well over the last few years but it doesn’t represent who & what we are as a company anymore, the team has grown & changed considerably over the last 4 years with the biggest change happening right now, as we move to bring branding & print services in-house adding to our already established digital, UX/UI design & development services for websites, software & mobile apps, in short enabling us to offer a more & better service our clients.

Something had to be done, no more of the “we’re too busy”, we had to dedicate some time in our busy schedules for ourselves so we can be seen for who we are now, today.

The whole team have been behind this push & are all equally excited to start establishing the new brand.

I mentioned at the start that we launched our new website, the site is by no means complete but gives a flavour of who we are & introduces the new brand, our collective goal was to launch something in 1 week & give us a solid foundation to build on moving forward — you’re reading this so that means we hit the deadline 🚀👌

The majority of the UX/UI Design for our ‘complete’ website is ready & waiting for development so over the coming weeks & months we’ll be looking forward to adding new content & insight into the projects we’re involved in, how we work & us as a team.
