Brush Lettering workshop 🖌💡👍🏼.

On Tuesday evening Ladies, Wine & Design Southampton hosted a Brush Lettering Workshop with guest host Marte from epletyv. The event welcomed creative ladies (and men) to a beginners workshop based at the Eagle Labs co-working space in Southampton.

Marte from epletyv is an inspirational Norwegian graphic designer & lettering artist and made the whole process of brush lettering look a doddle. We were taught to group certain letters together for example ‘i,u,n,m,l’ in order to practice writing whole words such as ‘minimum’ or ‘mill’.

The workshop overall was a way to discover a new skill and take you from the basics on brush lettering to feeling confident with a new found technique and lets not forget about the pizza, vino and spending a great evening with a bunch of creative ladies.
